Landscape Quilt

This class will include the basics of recreating a landscape on a quilt. It will start with applique and will include some free motion thread painting and embellishment techniques. This is an intermediate class and requires a basic knowledge of applique and free motion.

Trapunto By Machine

Traditionally, trapunto is a hand technique where you stuff areas of your quilt to create definition. In this class we will learn the art of creating the timeless beauty of whitework quilting with trapunto using your sewing machine and a few clever techniques.

Sashiko By Machine

Class coming in the fall

With this sampler project, we will take the beauty and precision of hand done Japanese Sashiko stitching and learn how to create this timeless look with our sewing machines. Your sample pieces can then be turned into a lap quilt or wall hanging using the quilt as you go technique.
